Michael Blackburn
When an injury occurs it is easy to be consumed by thoughts about the
pain ('I wish it would go away', 'How could I be so silly to get
injured?'). Now it's time to start to let go of these thoughts and
replace them with a more therapeutic mindset including healing visualization. This revolutionary set of three tracks can help you heal faster, maintain mental freshness during injury and return to sport with more confidence.
During his career, Olympic sailor Michael Blackburn has been injured more than he would have liked - neck, back, elbows, hips, wrists, etc - and was inspired to develop these tracks when a back injury had him in bed for the best part of three days. Through careful management and use of the techniques he discusses in these tracks, Michael was training again the fourth day after the injury and seven days later had won a Grade One Olympic classes regatta.
